Our Walking Football programme has been designed for all abilities and is broken down into appropriate age groups. We currently have over 400 participants on the programme who play on a weekly basis. Every session has a structures approach with a qualified and first aid trained coach.

Session Structure
Welcome-
The coach meets the player in the clubhouse prior to the start of sessions to introduce any new players

Warmup-
The warmup is a pulse raiser with mobilisation exercises designed to prepare the body for activity

Ball Drills-
Ball Drills are essential to prepare the body for football activity. It is also used as an exercise to improve ball control and balance

Main-
One hour match (5 minute drinks break)

Cooldown-
Allows the body to gradually transition to a resting state, this usually involves a slow walk around the pitch

Refreshments-
Following the session drinks and other refreshments are provided in the clubhouse, this is a chance to get to know your fellow players
