BWFC 3-1 Coleshill Over 60’s – WIN

BWFC came out on top in the next round of the Ray Usher memorial cup which was played at Beechcroft in sweltering heat.  Dave Whatmore opened the scoring to give BWFC an early lead which was doubled with a fine finish from debutant Mark Evans.  Dave Whatmore was again on hand to pounce on some poor defending to further the lead for Birmingham.  Coleshill pulled a consolation goal back towards the end but it was too little too late.  Birmingham had Tommy ‘gun’ Harrison to thank for pulling  off a clutch of fine saves throughout the match.
